From breathtaking flyovers to interactive tours of stadiums that haven’t even been built yet! And you don’t need a VR headset to enjoy them! So, let’s begin with the artwork of Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel Exhibition!
Visit the shops at Crystals for a life-sized high definition look at every brush stroke closer than you could ever get in Italy. and without the 10-hour flight. Ceiling paintings have been reproduced from high definition photos and printed with techniques that look and feel like the originals, and visitors are encouraged to get up close and personal to the life-sized artwork.
Next, get the full 4D experience of flight at Flyover Las Vegas. Strap in for an immersive experience where you feel cold air in your hair, a light mist on your face, and experience the smells of breathtaking landscapes. Feel every dip and dive as you soar over the American West and Canadian Rockies, the rugged landscapes of Iceland, or the streets of Chicago, all while your feet dangle and your seat moves with the motion.
Of course, you probably know that The Wizard of Oz is playing at the Sphere , but did you also know that show is immersive as well? It’s true. There are high winds, bursts of fire, the smells from the flowers, and even snowfall. But what the Sphere has planned for next year could be even more interactive. The Rocky Horror Picture Show. While no official date has been announced, the Sphere plans to bring the cult classic to their venue in 2027. But some of the more interactive elements like dancing in the aisles might be a challenge. So, we’ll have to wait and see how far the Sphere lets things go.
In the meantime, if you’d like to kick your Las Vegas immersive experiences up a few notches, there’s no place like Area 15. Last year, we covered the best new Vegas attractions, including their John Wick Experience and the ultra intense Universal Horror Unleashed. This year, they’ve added Art Quest, where guests use an app as an interactive guide on their phones to explore unique murals and sculptures.
Also, for something with a little less adrenaline, you could try the interactive displays at the Arte Museum, located on the strip near City Center. Step inside this multi-sensory wonderland of digital art with exhibits that do more than trick your eyes. Custom sounds and fragrances are added for a truly immersive experience that you can see, smell, hear, and feel. From waterfalls to waves to glowing jungle-scapes.
And finally, this week, the new Las Vegas baseball stadium won’t open until 2028, but you can take a virtual tour right now. Step inside the A’s Ballpark Experience Center and check out the immersive cube with 26 million pixels surrounding it. The walls dissolve into a massive 270° canvas where you can stand in the stadium, tour luxury suites, and feel the roar of the crowd before opening day.
