Boomerang Partners has unveiled updated standings for the third season of its Golden Boomerang Awards affiliate competition and introduced new incentive mechanisms for participants entering the tournament’s Second Half.
The Kickoff stage concluded on June 9, with team AskBonus winning the opening round and earning a trip to the Wimbledon Championships. Mystery Boxes containing prizes including limited-edition FIFA World Cup 2026 jerseys were also awarded to participants.
The rules are the same across all stages: the top 10 teams qualify for a random draw for the main stage prize, while Mystery Boxes are available to all active participants, not only the leaders.
In its update, Boomerang Partners announced Team Lily leads the overall standings with 6,029 points, including nearly 5,200 points generated through sports first-time deposits (FTDs). Team O is second with 2,677 points, while the teams in third, fourth and fifth places have 750, 504 and 341 points, respectively.
According to Boomerang Partners, about half of all FTDs generated by participants for brands in its portfolio have come from the sports betting segment, reflecting demand during the FIFA World Cup in North America. Around one-third of participating teams are also using the LUCKY FIVE mechanic, which awards bonus points for meeting weekly casino FTD targets.
The Second Half of the competition began on June 10 and will run through July 19, with the winning team set to receive a Formula 1 Grand Prix experience on Sept. 6.
To encourage new entrants, Boomerang Partners introduced a WELCOME BOOST feature that awards double points on every FTD during a team’s first 14 days in the competition.
The company also increased the value of sports FTDs to three points each from two in the previous stage, while retaining its LUCKY FIVE and LAST MINUTES WINNER bonus mechanics, with the latter allowing participants to earn three times the points for every FTD during the last 7 days of the stage.
Following the Second Half, the competition will move into an Overtime stage featuring additional prizes, bonus mechanics and enhanced point scoring.
The Golden Boomerang Awards will conclude with an awards ceremony across 11 categories in September during the SBC Summit in Lisbon.
