SOFTSWISS security chief named among HotTopics Global CISO 100 for 2026

SOFTSWISS Group Chief Security Officer Evgeny Zaretskov has been named to the 2026 HotTopics Global CISO 100, an annual list recognising leading cybersecurity executives for their contributions to cyber resilience and business transformation.

The programme, run by HotTopics in partnership with Thales Cybersecurity, recognises security leaders for protecting organisations, shaping business strategy and building trust in an increasingly complex digital environment.

The recognition comes after SOFTSWISS recently introduced a new brand positioning and refreshed visual identity, as the company seeks to strengthen its focus on technology, security and long-term partnerships with operators in regulated markets.

The award underscores its emphasis on helping operators meet growing security, compliance and operational resilience requirements as regulation tightens across global jurisdictions.

Zaretskov leads the company’s global cybersecurity strategy, overseeing security governance, risk management and cyber resilience across a technology ecosystem that supports more than 1,500 brands worldwide. His work focuses on strengthening security while enabling innovation and long-term business growth in regulated markets.

“Cybersecurity is ultimately about trust. For our partners, that means being able to launch products, operate reliably and grow in regulated markets with confidence,” Zaretskov said.

“This recognition belongs to the entire security team and reflects the culture of resilience we’ve built together at SOFTSWISS,” he added.

The recognition reinforces the direction outlined in its recent brand repositioning, under which reliable technology, security and trust are intended to underpin long-term partnerships with operators in regulated markets.
