Jackson County Player Takes Home $100K Lottery Prize

A lucky woman in Missouri has won $100,000 from the lottery. The prize came from one of the lottery scratch-off tickets and made its winner very happy.

Missouri Lottery Player Won the First $100,000K Prize in the Game

According to the Missouri Lottery’s official announcement, a woman from Jackson County has just redeemed a $100,000 prize. This incredible payout came from a $2,000,000 Bankroll scratch-off ticket that she purchased at BP, 8025 Hickman Mills Drive, in Kansas City.

In an interview with lottery officials, the lucky woman said that she was very excited when she scratched the ticket and saw how much she had won.

I was shocked, but I was able to keep it quiet until I got out to my car to call my husband.

Lottery winner’s statement

The woman admitted that she purchased the ticket for no other reason than the fact that it looked visually pleasing. The ticket’s Bank symbol, however, proved that the ticket was more than just looks, as it allowed her to win all 25 prizes listed on the ticket.

For reference, this was the first $100,000 prize in the $20 $2,000,000 Bankroll game. As of the time of the lottery’s announcement, there were three more $100,000 prizes left in the game. The two top prizes of $2 million also have yet to be won.

Scratch-Off Games Minted Even More Millionaires

Elsewhere, a lucky player from New York just won $3 million from a 100Xtra scratch-off ticket. The winner was revealed as Christiane Butcher of Brooklyn, who visited the lottery to claim her winnings and walked out with a $1,242,851 lump sum payment (after required withholdings).

In Texas, a New Braunfels resident and H-E-B customer won a jaw-dropping $20 million prize from the Million Supreme scratch-off game. The lucky player bought the ticket absentmindedly while doing their shopping and was amazed when they won a life-changing eight-figure sum.
