Connecticut’s Foxwoods Resort Casino has opened a new gaming area inside The Fox Tower featuring next-generation casino games and technology.
Called the Innovation Zone, the new space combines slot machines, electronic games and table-game concepts in one location. Foxwoods said it is the first casino outside Las Vegas to offer this collection of gaming experiences in a dedicated area.
The zone is designed to complement the casino’s traditional gaming floor by introducing new game formats and interactive technology.
Slot titles include Interblock’s Destroyer series such as Naval Strike, Showtime Frenzy, Cosmic Crash and Battle for Earth, along with ATI’s Thunder Empire, Spooky Link Mi Mummy, Spooky Link Yo Yeti and Mo Mo Mo Mummy.
Other slot offerings include IGT’s Wheel of Fortune Cash on Reels Superspin and Light & Wonder’s Huff n Triple Puff, Piggy Bankin Break In and Super Hot Flaming Pots: Mr. Wong.
The electronic gaming lineup includes Mega Big Six Wheel and Bubble Craps, whilst table game options feature Battle 1-2-3, Party Pair, Chase the Flush, and Double Hook Poker.
Foxwoods said additional games and experiences will be introduced over the coming weeks and months.
Foxwoods said the Innovation Zone is intended to appeal to a range of visitors, from experienced casino players to first-time and casual guests interested in newer gaming formats. The new area is also part of Foxwoods’ ongoing efforts to expand its gaming offerings and introduce new technology alongside its existing casino floor.
“Developed in partnership with Interblock, a global leader in electronic table gaming technology, the Innovation Zone brings together next-generation slots, electronic table games, and interactive gaming technology designed to reshape the modern casino floor,” the casino said in a statement.
