BetMGM has launched live dealer casino games streamed directly from Las Vegas at BetMGM Casino Alberta, giving players access to blackjack, roulette, and baccarat tables hosted by professional dealers broadcasting from MGM Resorts International properties.
The games are streamed through MGM Resorts International’s live casino partnership with Playtech. Players in Alberta can now watch hands and spins unfold in real time and interact with dealers stationed inside actual Las Vegas casino venues.
“Live dealer content continues to be one of the fastest-evolving categories in iGaming. Live dealer bridges the gap between online gaming and the casino floor, creating a more immersive and engaging experience for players,” said Rob Passerino, Director of Gaming at BetMGM.
“The real-time interaction with professional dealers and the ability to watch hands and spins unfold live adds a sense of authenticity that really resonates with players,” he added.
Dual Play tables link online and in-person players
Beyond dedicated live dealer tables, the rollout includes Dual Play games from Bellagio and MGM Grand, where online participants and players physically present at the tables take part in the same game simultaneously.
The roulette lineup includes MGM Grand Live American Roulette, MGM Grand Live Roulette and Bellagio Live Roulette. The baccarat selection includes MGM Grand Live Baccarat and Bellagio Live Baccarat.
Blackjack offerings include Vegas All Bets Blackjack Live along with four Vegas Live Blackjack tables.
A regulatory difference from other markets
Alberta is among a limited number of regulated iGaming markets in North America permitting live dealer content streamed directly from Las Vegas casino floors. Many jurisdictions instead require live dealer games to originate from local studios. Alberta’s framework allows players to connect to tables operating inside MGM Resorts venues such as MGM Grand and Bellagio.
