Kalshi has entered multi-year marketing partnerships with five Major League Baseball clubs in its first tie-up with MLB franchises.
The agreements cover the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants. Kalshi confirmed it remains in discussions with MLB regarding a league-wide agreement.
Under the deals, Kalshi gains advertising placement on in-stadium signage and LED boards, along with promotion across social media, online channels and radio. The agreements also call for fan activations and, in some cases, club-specific offers inside the Kalshi app.
At Dodger Stadium, Kalshi will hold naming rights to the Gold Glove Bar, an indoor sports bar located beneath the Left Field Pavilion with a view of the Dodgers’ bullpen. Dodgers fans will also gain access to bonus offers and on-site activations at Centerfield Plaza throughout the season.
Through the partnerships, MLB fans can trade on outcomes tied to games, player performances, and season-long futures using Kalshi’s platform.
“The idea is that fans are already engaging with their favorite teams on Kalshi, so it only makes sense to extend that fandom to some of the most beloved baseball teams in America,” said Adam Barrick, Head of Sports Partnerships at Kalshi.
Both the Red Sox and Dodgers had hinted at the arrangements before Tuesday’s formal announcement. Boston posted content featuring Kalshi branding last Friday, and Kalshi signage had already appeared at Dodgers games.
The five partnerships add to a sports portfolio that already includes the NHL, the Chicago Blackhawks, LALIGA North America and the Argentina Football Association. Kalshi’s involvement with the FIFA World Cup earlier this year also generated a revenue increase for the company.
The Red Sox partnership arrives as a Massachusetts injunction targeting Kalshi’s sports event contracts remains paused pending appeal. Kalshi continues to face legal disputes over sports contracts in several other states; a Michigan judge, for example, blocked the platform from offering sports bets to residents in June.
Rivals also pursuing team-level deals
Kalshi’s push into MLB comes as competitors pursue similar arrangements. Novig became the first prediction market platform to sign with an MLB team when it partnered with the New York Mets on July 30. Polymarket followed on August 6 with a deal covering the New York Yankees.
The five teams represent close to 17% of MLB’s 30 franchises and carry a combined estimated fan base of 60 million to 65 million, according to national polling data cited by Kalshi. The clubs also count roughly 9 million combined followers on X.
Kalshi said baseball-related trading volume has grown more than 36 times year-over-year, with nearly $60 million traded in its World Series futures market alone.
