Universal $1,000 Freeroll: Free Entry to PartyPoker Tournament Aug. 30

Attention all freeroll hunters! Players who sign up via Universal Poker have the chance to compete for a $1,000 guaranteed prize pool thanks to the Universal $1,000 Freeroll on PartyPoker.

Taking place on Sunday, August 30 at 20:00 BST, the tournament is completely free to enter. Entry is available exclusively to players whose accounts are tagged to Universal Poker, with registration already open in the PartyPoker client. The password will be revealed to eligible players on Universal Poker shortly before the tournament begins.

The freeroll offers tournament tickets across a variety of upcoming PartyPoker events, with the top 27 finishers all set to receive a prize. Players will begin with 50,000 chips, giving everyone plenty of time to build a stack and enjoy a decent Sunday evening session of poker.

Naturally, the biggest prize goes to the tournament winner, in the form of a $250 Anniversary Series Main Event Ticket, while second place will grab a total $164 in tournament entries, and third place earns a Sunday Party $109 Ticket.

How to Find the Universal $1,000 Freeroll

Finding the event in the PartyPoker client is nice and simple. Open the Tournament lobby and enter “Universal” into the search bar. For the tournament to appear, make sure no other filters are selected before searching.

The event will be listed as “Universal $1,000 Freeroll”, where eligible players can register immediately by clicking “Register for $0” and entering the password. The password will be revealed to eligible players on Universal Poker shortly before the tournament begins.
