The PokerStars Sunday Million is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a $109 buy-in, $5 million guaranteed progressive knockout edition. This special event is a phased tournament, where the final phase, Day 2, is scheduled to shuffle up and deal at 8:05 p.m. BST on September 6.
Only a handful of $109 Phase 1 remain, meaning you must hurry if you want to be in with a chance of padding your bankroll with a share of a $5 million guaranteed prize pool.
The PokerStars lobby shows Phase 1 starting at 4:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m., and 11:30 p.m. BST on September 2-3. It is safe to assume subsequent Phase 1s will follow a similar pattern during the rest of the week.
Satellites from only $0.55 run around the clock, opening the door for almost every PokerStars player to jump into the action and join the Sunday Million anniversary celebrations. Those looking for something different may want to try the special edition Spin & Go tournaments that award $109 tickets as their top prize. They come with buy-ins of $0.75 and $4.
At the time of this article’s publication, 42,407 entries had been processed across dozens of Phase 1s, with 1,362 advancing to the final phase.
