GUKPT 2027 Schedule Revealed for 20th Anniversary

Grosvenor

The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) is preparing to celebrate two decades of poker in 2027, and players can now start planning their year after Grosvenor Poker revealed the dates and venues for its biggest tournaments.

Nine GUKPT legs are scheduled for 2027, alongside the return of three of the UK’s most popular poker festivals: the UK Open, Goliath and Behemoth.

The tour will once again travel across England and Scotland, with stops in London, Manchester, Luton, Glasgow, Leeds and Blackpool. Coventry will also welcome back the UK Open, Goliath and Behemoth, giving players plenty to look forward to throughout the year.

And with the GUKPT marking its 20th anniversary, Grosvenor Poker has even more planned for 2027, with further festival announcements expected in the coming days.

GUKPT 2027 Schedule and Headline Events

The new season begins in London on January 14, with the opening leg running until January 24. Manchester follows in February before the UK Open takes centre stage at Coventry in March.

One of the notable changes sees the UK Open move back to March, meaning there will be two GUKPT legs before the first major standalone festival of the year, compared with one in 2026.

Glasgow also retains its place on the calendar following the decision to move the Scottish leg from Edinburgh in 2026. The switch to Glasgow Merchant City proved popular with players, particularly given its more central location and the availability of more affordable accommodation options.

Elsewhere, Goliath returns to Coventry from July 22 to August 1, while the GUKPT Grand Final heads back to London in November. Behemoth will then round off the headline schedule in Coventry from December 6-12.

Event Dates
GUKPT London January 14–24
GUKPT Manchester February 4–14
UK Open (Coventry) March 4–14
GUKPT London April 8–18
GUKPT Luton May 9–16
Goliath (Coventry) July 22–August 1
GUKPT Glasgow August 5–15
GUKPT Luton September 2–12
GUKPT Leeds September 30–October 10
GUKPT Blackpool October 28–November 7
GUKPT Grand Final (London) November 18–28
Behemoth (Coventry) December 6–12

All dates are for 2027. Further tournament details, including buy-ins and individual event schedules, will be announced separately. Dates and venues are subject to change

Twenty Years of the GUKPT

The 2027 season will mark a major milestone for the GUKPT, which first launched in 2007 and has spent the past two decades providing a regular tournament circuit for players across the UK.

Over that time, the tour has become a fixture of the British poker calendar, welcoming everyone from recreational players taking their first shot at a major live tournament to some of the country’s most accomplished grinders.

For those who have followed the tour since its early days, the anniversary offers a chance to revisit some familiar venues and memories. For newer players, it’s another opportunity to experience a tournament series that has been part of the UK poker scene for 20 years.

And while the nine GUKPT legs form the backbone of the anniversary season, they are only part of what Grosvenor Poker has planned.

More Grosvenor Poker Announcements to Come

Grosvenor Poker is also preparing to reveal its wider 2027 tournament calendar, with more than 90 festivals and special events expected across its venues.

The full announcement is set to include an expanded Grosvenor’s Monster Stack Tour, with more tournaments at the £100 buy-in level, as well as a new festival series replacing the UK Poker League (UKPL).

Mixed-game festivals are also being considered for London Victoria and Manchester Bury New Road.

Grosvenor Poker’s partnership with GGPoker will continue for a second season, with online satellites and direct buy-ins available for selected events. Players can also receive a cash boost of up to 20%, with full details and T&Cs available here.

GGPoker will also be present at selected festivals, offering promotions, giveaways and player support, building on the partnership that saw co-branded poker felts introduced across Grosvenor venues in 2026.

Players will also be able to access more localised tournament calendars, making it easier to find upcoming events at their nearest Grosvenor venue.
