The first huge win took place on Friday, September 4, the lottery wrote, with a winning ticket worth $550,000 sold at a Shell gas station at 307 W. Main St. in Saint Charles. The winning numbers were 8, 9, 15, 33, and 38.
Then again, another ticket worth $100,000 was also won on the same day by an online player who won using the numbers 3, 12, 19, 32, and 35. Another large win occurred on Sunday, September 6, when a ticket won $200,000.
The ticket was purchased from Tony’s Fresh Market at 2500 N. Central Ave. in Chicago, and the winning numbers were 1, 4, 20, 24, and 27.
With the lottery prizes confirmed, players now have a full calendar year from the date of the draw to claim their prizes.
Prior to these wins, the Illinois Lottery has had another happy event to report, with a woman scooping $2,000,000 with a ticket purchase from the ZJ’s Pantry Plus Liquors at 699 N. Wolf Rd. in Des Plaines.
