888poker XL Autumn Series 2026 Runs September 20-29

Summer may be over or coming to an end in many parts of the world, but that means it is almost time for an exciting online poker tournament festival. Each autumn, or fall to those across the pond, 888poker runs the XL Autumn Series, a festival of red-hot tournaments designed to welcome in the colder months of the year.

The first of 41 numbered events that make up the bustling XL Autumn Series schedule shuffles up and deals on September 20, with the 41st and final event bringing the curtain down on September 29.

Almost $900,000 worth of guaranteed prize pools are waiting to be won across the series, including $350,000 across a pair of mystery bounty main events.

Mystery Bounty Tournaments Dominate the XL Spring Series Schedule

888poker was one of the first online poker sites to offer mystery bounty tournaments, and a significant percentage of its daily tournament schedule is made up of this format. That trend continued during the 2026 XL Autumn Series, with 26 of the 41 events being mystery bounties.

A $109 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed Mystery Opening Event is one of those mystery bounty tournaments. It helps kick off the XL Autumn Series at 6:00 p.m. BST on September 20.

This tournament used to be 888poker’s weekly flagship tournament, but its guarantee was reduced to $80,000, and it hasn’t hit that level since. Increasing the guarantee to $100,000 is a bold move and could represent value for XL Autumn Series grinders.

$300,000 Guaranteed Main Event and $50,000 Guaranteed Mini Main Event

The 2026 XL Autumn Series boasts a pair of No-Limit Hold’em Main Events played as, you guessed it, mystery bounty tournaments.

The $250 Mystery Main Event has a $300,000 guarantee on its prize pool, meaning almost 1,300 entries are required for 888poker to avoid an overlay. It is a similar story with the $25 Mystery Mini Main, with just more than 2,220 players needed to hit the $50,000 guarantee.

Both the Mini Main and Main Event have dozens of Day 1s starting from September 13.

Last year, “amormori” of Romania took down the $250 Mystery Main Event, outlasting 2,319 entrants and collecting $55,782.

“brocanuts” won the $25 Mystery Mini Main, earning $6,077 after leaving a trail of busted opponents 4,413 players long.
