Twenty of the 33 bracelet-awarding events that make up the GGPoker 2026 WSOP Online have crowned their champions, and it is fair to say Brazilians are dominating proceedings.
Across those 20 completed events, Brazilians have won five, finished second five times, and claimed five third-place finishes. Unsurprisingly, Brazil also tops the total winnings table with $2,618,133 won by Samba stars.
Nilson Junior is the latest Brazilian to become a World Series of Poker bracelet winner. Junior triumphed in the $250 Beat the Pros Bounty NLH, a tournament that saw 5,755 entrants create a $1,323,650 prize pool.
Each of the nine finalists walked away with at least a five-figure score when bounty payments were added to their prize.
“CASINOSATVKITOP” was the first of those finalists sent to the rail; they banked $13,832.
Luis Rocha of Brazil and Shipeng “4807” Hu of China were the next couple of players eliminated. They took home $21,665 and $26,515, respectively, before Vyacheslav Chizhevsky of Kazakhstan bowed out in sixth for a $31,596 prize.
Another Brazilian, Renan Menguetti, fell in fifth for $43,727, with Steven “RothshildRep” van Zadelhoff, showing as playing from Romania, crashing out in fourth for $51,759.
Third place and $59,776 went to Pawel Kapczynski before Junior defeated fellow Brazilian Fabricio Nociolini heads-up for the title. Nociolini banked $73,862 for his bridesmaid finish, leaving Junior to reel in $113,245, a $30,000 Super Pass to the 2026 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event, and his first WSOP bracelet.

Vietnamese Grinder Turns $600 Into $157,439
The $600 Ultra Stack NLH also crowned its champion this weekend, and Vietnam’s “BananaTilt” is that player. The unknown Vietnamese player left 2,500 players in their wake as they took $157,439 from the $1,425,570 prize pool, plus, of course, a gold WSOP bracelet.
A handful of GGPoker regulars reached the nine-handed final table, including Christos Argyriadis, who fell in ninth for $22,490. Brazil’s Marcelo “Mr_nobody” Betto ($28,684) and Slovenia-based Italian Mikel “VVsMolly” Calo ($36,583) finished in eighth and seventh place, with “Lord Given” crashing out in fourth for $75,892.

You may recall that “Lord Given” became a millionaire at GGPoker in June. The Serbian won the $1,500 GG World Championship Main Event and saw $1,091,345 land in their GGPoker account after a three-handed deal.
There was a bronze medal finish for Brazilian Paulo “VFORGE I” Silva, which earned him $96,790. “BananaTilt” then defeated “dongwang123” of Hong Kong to claim the $157,439 top prize and resign the runner-up to a $123,444 payout.
The champion also received a WSOP bracelet and will play in the $50 million guaranteed 2026 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event for free, thanks to GGPoker awarding every 2026 WSOP Online champion a $30,000 Super Pass.

Event #21: $1,500 GGMasters Freezeout Championship concluded on September 14. Its 1,515 field was reduced to 46 on Day 1; Day 2 shuffles up and deals at 6:00 p.m. BST.
Eight of those returning players call Brazil home, including the aforementioned Nilson Junior, Artur Berg, Ramon Kropmanns, so do not be surprised if a sixth bracelet finds its way to Brazilian hands.
Each returning player will win at least $5,088. Reaching the final table increases that payout to $39,504, with the eventual champion taking home $316,037, a WSOP bracelet, and a $30,000 Super Pass.
