The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS), in November, will visit The Lodge Card Club, but not the one in Austin.
RGPS Golden Expedition is headed to San Antonio for a juicy tournament series at one of the biggest poker rooms in Texas. The series features 14 ring events across 11 days from Nov. 5-15, and it will be the first time the RGPS travels to the popular poker room more known for its action-packed cash games.
What to Expect from RGPS at The Lodge in San Antonio
The action begins Nov. 5 with the $300 PokerNews PowerStack, a staple at each RGPS stop. This No-Limit Hold’em tournament has $100,000 guaranteed and five Day 1 starting flights, the first taking place on opening day.
There are two flights each of the following two days, and all players who bag a Day 1 stack will return on Nov. 8 to play it down to a winner. This series isn’t just for those who only enjoy No-Limit Hold’em. There’s plenty of Omaha action on the schedule, including $300 Big O on Nov. 9. The $300 Seniors Event runs that same day, and the $200 Ladies Event takes place Nov. 8.
PokerNews will be in the house at The Lodge Card Club San Antonio live reporting the $600 Main Event, which starts Nov. 11. This tournament promises at least $200,000 in the pot, and we’ll keep you updated on all the action from start to finish.
There are two Day 1 sessions each day through Nov. 14. Day 2, the finale, runs Nov. 15, the final day of the series. On that last day, there is one last event, and that is the $400 Closer, which guarantees at least $20,000 in the pot.
