Prediction Markets Summit Europe 2026 to bring industry leaders and regulators to Gibraltar

Prediction Markets Summit Europe 2026 will bring regulators, platform founders, institutional operators and legal advisers to Gibraltar on November 9-10, as the industry examines the development of event-based trading and its integration into financial and regulatory systems.

Organized by Eventus International, the inaugural PX Markets Summit Europe will take place aboard the Sunborn Gibraltar. The two-day event will focus on market growth, regulatory frameworks, market integrity, technology and international expansion.

The first day will begin with registration and an opening keynote address at 13:30, followed by a startup pitch competition at 14:00 in which three shortlisted companies will present their platforms and business models to an expert judging panel. The winner will be announced at 16:30.

The day will conclude with a networking reception from 17:00 to 20:00, bringing together speakers, sponsors and delegates.

The main conference on November 10 will open with a ministerial keynote address at 9:00 by Nigel Feetham, Gibraltar’s Minister for Justice, Trade and Industry, focusing on the regulation of event contracts. A subsequent presentation will compare sportsbook risk with prediction market mechanics.

Sessions will examine European Regulatory Frameworks, including the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), differences in market classification across Europe, and the distinction between financial and gambling oversight.

The technology-focused discussions will cover automated market makers, continuous liquidity, machine learning-based forecasting, and transparent event resolution. Afternoon sessions will address market growth projections, media expansion, institutional investment and international licensing challenges.

The speaker lineup includes Andrew Lyman, Gambling Commissioner and Executive Director of the Gambling Division of the Government of Gibraltar; Christina Thakor-Rankin, principal consultant at 1710 Gaming Ltd; Gayle Kimberley, partner at GKF Legal; Jon Russell, founder of Straight Forecast; Judith Glynn, head of the Centre of Excellence in Responsible Gaming at the University of Gibraltar; and Targ Patience, co-founder of Dolya Consultants.

The conference will conclude on November 10 with closing remarks followed by a farewell networking reception.

Licensed operators and affiliates may apply for complimentary passes, subject to approval and availability. Delegates and C-level executives can choose between standard and VIP passes, which provide access to all conference streams, daily networking luncheons, refreshment breaks, and the official welcoming reception.

Sponsorship and exhibition packages are also available for companies seeking to showcase their products and services to industry decision-makers and regional regulators.
