iGB L!VE to return to Amsterdam in 2027 with revamped format

iGB L!VE will return to Amsterdam in 2027 with a revamped format designed to prioritise senior-level industry networking, buyer quality and commercial opportunities, following feedback from operators, affiliates and technology partners.

The event, branded iGB L!VE 2.0, will mark a broader evolution of the show rather than simply a change of venue. The revised format will focus on more targeted business interactions, executive participation and closed-door deal-making.

The updated model aims to reduce conventional trade show activities and create a more focused gathering built around commercial outcomes and meaningful connections. Supported by industry ambassadors, the event will combine strategic discussions with peer-to-peer networking.

The Amsterdam edition will bring together senior-level operators, high-volume traffic drivers and tier-one B2B suppliers across the iGaming sector. Its areas of focus will include localised online casino content, sports betting technology, search engine optimisation strategies, automated compliance and cost-per-acquisition and revenue-share deals.

Stuart Hunter, Managing Director at WorldGaming, said feedback gathered over the past two years had highlighted areas that attendees valued as well as aspects of the show that needed to change.

“Over the last two years, whether standing on the show floor, sitting down over a coffee, or in research discussions, the exact same conversation kept coming up. Whilst we are responsible for governing the delivery of the show, iGBL!VE really belongs to the community, and it was clear about what they loved, but equally honest about what needed to evolve. We realised that listening wasn’t enough; it was time to act,” he said.

Hunter said the return to Amsterdam will involve introducing an improved format focused on valuable industry connections and making better use of attendees’ time.

“Returning to Amsterdam isn’t just about coming home to the city where so many of our industry’s best relationships were born but also about bringing back a completely new and improved iGB L!VE. One that respects people’s time, puts high-value connections first, and truly belongs to the community. We believe the homecoming will be a real home run,” Hunter said.

Registration and rebooking details for iGB L!VE 2.0 in Amsterdam are expected to be announced shortly.
