More than $216,000 in guaranteed prize money is up for grabs when the RunGood Poker Series rolls into Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa, this November.

The Golden Expedition stop runs from November 17-22, with eight trophy events and several substantial guarantees spread across the six-day schedule.

While the $800 Main Event and its $111,000 guarantee will attract plenty of attention, there is another tournament that could prove just as popular. The $400 Tag Team Championship has $40,000 guaranteed and gives players the chance to compete alongside a partner for a pair of RunGood rings.

Add in a $20,000 guaranteed PokerNews PowerStack, a selection of Omaha tournaments and plenty of satellites, and there should be something for players of all bankrolls.

PokerNews will also be providing live reporting from the Main Event as another RunGood champion is crowned.

Saturday follows the same format, with Flights C and D scheduled for 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., respectively.

All surviving players will return at noon on Sunday, November 22, to battle for the title and the lion’s share of the guaranteed prize pool.

Players can also take a shot at qualifying through $190 satellites, which award one Main Event seat for every five entries. These are scheduled on Thursday evening, Friday morning and afternoon, and Saturday morning.

For those looking to get involved earlier, package satellites are also available, offering Main Event entries alongside seats in other tournaments and cash.

The Tag Team Championship is one of the standout additions to the Council Bluffs schedule.

For $400 per team, two players can enter the double-ring tournament, which features a $40,000 guarantee and two starting flights on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Teams surviving those flights will return for the Day 2 restart at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 19.

Wednesday also features the $300 PokerNews PowerStack, with $20,000 guaranteed, alongside a $300 Limit Omaha Hi-Lo tournament.

The opening day includes a $250 Seniors Event with $20,000 guaranteed and a $250 Series Opener with a $10,000 prize pool guarantee.

There is plenty to play for even after the Main Event begins, with a $200 Turbo NLH tournament and a $400 Series Sendoff rounding out the final day’s action.
