AGEM Index surges 16.4% to record high in October as all nine manufacturers post gains

The AGEM Index reached a record high of 2,108.59 points in October 2026, gaining 297.58 points, or 16.4%, from the previous month, as shares of all nine gaming equipment manufacturers tracked by the index advanced.

The increase came despite a mixed performance across major U.S. stock markets. The NASDAQ declined 5.3% during October, while the S&P 500 fell 0.9%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, however, recorded a 1.7% increase.

Konami Corp. accounted for more than half of the AGEM Index’s monthly point gain, contributing 150.45 points following a 23.3% rise in its share price. The increase followed the company’s earnings results released in late October.

Aristocrat Leisure Limited was the second-largest contributor, adding 73.27 points to the index as its stock price climbed 8.2%.

The gains were broad-based, with all nine constituent companies recording positive share price movements during the month. Consequently, the index registered nine positive contributions and no negative contributions.

On a year-over-year basis, the AGEM Index increased 8.9%, equivalent to 171.96 points, placing its October reading at the highest level in its recorded history.
