IGT has selected Adam Chibib as its next chief financial officer, with the appointment scheduled to take effect on November 1, 2026, subject to required regulatory approvals. Chibib will replace Fabio Celadon, who will remain CFO through October 31 before moving into an advisory role through December 31 to assist with the handover.
The change comes as IGT continues a broader company transformation centered on stronger operating discipline and cash flow creation, with portfolio performance also forming part of the company’s plans. The program covers its Gaming and Digital operations, along with FinTech. Chibib will take charge of the global Finance organization and work on aligning the company’s financial strategy and capital priorities with business execution.
Chibib Brings Gaming and Technology Finance Experience
Chibib has more than 30 years of financial and operational leadership experience. His career includes work with listed companies and private equity-backed businesses, alongside senior positions within technology organizations. Across that period, he contributed to six successful exits.
His most recent position was chief financial officer of Raptor Technologies. Warburg Pincus acquired the company in January 2026 after a significant transformation under the ownership of Thoma Bravo and JMI Equity.
Chibib also has direct gaming-sector experience. He previously served as president and chief financial officer of Multimedia Games, where he helped double revenue and triple profitability. During his time with the company, its market capitalization increased from approximately $47 million to more than $1 billion before a $1.2 billion acquisition. Global Cash Access, which later became Everi Holdings, acquired Multimedia Games.
He later served as chairman of the board and chair of the audit committee at playAGS through the company’s acquisition in 2025. His period as chairman ran from January 2018 until July 2025. Earlier positions included CFO roles at NetSpend Corporation, TippingPoint, Waveset and BroadJump. He also spent five years as a partner at venture capital and private equity company Silverton Partners and held a financial leadership role at Self Financial.
IGT Chief Executive Officer Hector Fernandez said the appointment matches the company’s requirements during its current period of change.
“Adam brings the public company, private equity and gaming experience we need for this stage of IGT’s transformation,” Fernandez said. “His financial discipline and operating mindset will be important as we sharpen execution and strengthen cash flow creation. I also want to thank Fabio for more than two decades of leadership and commitment to IGT. He has helped guide the company through significant change and has been a trusted partner across the business.”
Finance Change Follows Wider Company Restructuring
IGT’s current transformation includes a stronger focus on operational performance and portfolio results, with the company also seeking to improve cash flow generation throughout its businesses.
The CFO appointment follows other major changes at the group. Earlier in 2026, reports indicated that IGT planned to reduce its global workforce by around 10%, putting approximately 700 roles at risk. That development came after the divestment of the company’s lottery division and the $6.3 billion merger with Everi, which Apollo Global Management led in July 2025.
As CFO, Chibib will oversee IGT’s global finance function and support decisions involving financial strategy and capital allocation. The company has connected the position with its longer-term objectives as it continues adjusting operations following major corporate transactions.
Chibib said he sees an opportunity to build on IGT’s existing business and market presence.
“IGT has a strong portfolio, leading market positions and a clear opportunity to create value,” Chibib said. “I look forward to working with Hector, the leadership team and the Finance organization to strengthen financial and operating discipline, align capital with our highest priorities and build a durable foundation for growth.”
Celadon to Support the Handover Through December
Celadon’s association with IGT and its predecessor companies spans more than two decades. He became chief financial officer of Lottomatica S.p.A. in 2002 and later held senior positions covering finance and strategy, as well as corporate development and international operations. His international responsibilities extended across Europe and North America, together with Asia.
He became IGT’s CFO in July 2025 after serving in other senior roles across the wider business. Under the succession plan, Celadon will remain in the CFO position until October 31. He will then continue with IGT as an adviser through December 31, 2026, to support the leadership transition.
Chibib will therefore take responsibility for IGT’s finance organization during a period shaped by substantial corporate and operational changes. His previous roles include experience with gaming companies, technology businesses and organizations backed by private equity. IGT expects him to apply that background as the company continues working on financial discipline, capital priorities and cash generation.
