Tickets for the NBA China Games 2026 presented by Taobao 88VIP will become available to the public on August 12, with the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets scheduled to meet in two preseason games at The Venetian Arena in Macau.
The National Basketball Association and Sands China Ltd. announced that ticket sales will begin at 12 p.m. China Standard Time through Cotai Ticketing, Taobao 88VIP, Trip.com and MPay.
The teams will play on Friday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. CST and Sunday, October 11 at 5:30 p.m. CST. The event will also include NBA Fan Day presented by Alibaba Cloud, which will take place on Saturday, October 10 at 3:30 p.m. CST at The Venetian Arena.
Ticket prices for the preseason games start at MOP/HKD 588, while NBA Fan Day tickets begin at MOP/HKD 488.
Macau Event To Feature NBA Stars And Asian Performers
The NBA China Games 2026 will bring together several high-profile basketball players and entertainment performers for the Macau event.
The Mavericks roster includes 2016 NBA champion and nine-time NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving, 2025-26 NBA Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg and 2026 No. 9 overall pick Morez Johnson Jr.
The Rockets will feature two-time NBA champion and 16-time NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, two-time NBA All-Star Alperen Sengun and 2024-25 NBA All-Defensive First Team member Amen Thompson.
The games will also feature performances from artists across Asia. Gen Z group KiiiKiii will perform during halftime at the NBA China Games, while Hong Kong singer-actor and MIRROR member Keung To and K-Pop artist EVAN, also known as HEESEUNG, will appear at NBA Fan Day.
NBA Fan Day will be hosted by rapper-actor MC Jin and will include activities involving Mavericks and Rockets players, entertainment performances and mascots. The program will feature fan competitions such as a skills challenge, three-point contest, shooting stars challenge and a slam dunk showcase with professional dunkers.
Sands China And NBA Expand Fan Experience
Sands China, the Official Integrated Resort Partner of NBA China, will serve as co-host and Official Promoter of the event.
The companies have also introduced NBAChinaGames.com, a digital platform created to provide official information about the games, venues, ticketing details, surrounding events and fan experiences.
The NBA China Games 2026 presented by Taobao 88VIP will be distributed to audiences in more than 200 countries and territories through television, digital platforms and social media channels.
According to SandsChina, the event is supported by several commercial partners, including Taobao 88VIP as Presenting Partner, Alibaba Cloud as Presenting Partner of NBA Fan Day, and official partners NIKE, Alipay+, Amazon Web Services, Ctrip, Gatorade, JACK & JONES, Mengniu, NEW BALANCE, Tissot and Wilson.
The Venetian Arena will host the games, with ticket categories ranging from standard seating to premium floor options. The highest-priced VVIP Floor ticket is listed at MOP/HKD 24,888, while other categories include VIP Floor, reserved seating options and lower-priced sections beginning at MOP/HKD 588.
The return of NBA preseason action to Macau follows last year’s games between the Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Nets at The Venetian Macao. The event attracted significant attention and was described as a major success by Las Vegas Sands President and COO Patrick Dumont.
Industry observers also noted that the previous NBA events helped increase visitor activity at Sands China properties and contributed to broader tourism and entertainment activity in Macau.
The selection of the Mavericks and Rockets for the 2026 games follows Dumont’s connection with the Dallas franchise. Dumont serves as Governor of the Dallas Mavericks and became majority owner of the team after he and the Adelson family purchased the franchise in 2023. After last year’s event, he indicated plans to bring the Texas-based teams to Macau in 2026.
