Wynn Al Marjan Island Plans 98-Berth Superyacht Marina

Wynn Al Marjan Island has unveiled plans for a 98-berth superyacht marina at its integrated resort in Ras Al Khaimah, giving guests arriving by sea direct access to the property.

The marina will accommodate superyachts and megayachts up to 85 metres and is scheduled to open alongside the wider resort in 2027. Wynn says it will have capacity for more yachts and larger vessels than any hotel-attached marina in the UAE.

The $5.7 billion beachfront resort is being developed on Al Marjan Island by Wynn Resorts in partnership with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding.

“Wynn Marina has been conceived as a direct extension of Wynn Al Marjan Island,” said Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island, as reported by Arabian Business.

“Guests will move effortlessly between life on the water and experiences throughout the resort, from dining and entertainment to accommodations and waterfront amenities. It is not simply a place to berth a yacht, but an integral part of the destination.”

Circular Harbour Anchors the Design

The marina will feature a circular harbour with a radial berth layout inside a protected basin with a maximum depth of five metres.

Marina Solutions International designed the marina, while Dewan Architects + Engineers designed the Capitainerie, which will serve as the central arrival and operations hub.

IGY Marinas will oversee day-to-day marina operations. Services will include check-in, concierge support, provisioning and captain assistance, along with transport arrangements and dining reservations.

Guests will also be able to access tailored resort experiences and onboard event support directly through the marina team.

The circular harbour is intended to become a visible architectural element within the wider resort, with yachts and waterfront activity seen from nearby accommodation, terraces, restaurants and promenades.

Marina Connects Directly With Resort Facilities

The marina will link visiting yachts with Wynn Al Marjan Island’s accommodation, dining, retail, wellness and entertainment facilities.

A waterfront promenade will create space for resort guests and visitors, while surrounding areas are also expected to support events and celebrations.

The Marina and Ocean Estates will sit around the harbour, placing accommodation close to the waterfront and yacht berths.

The resort will also include the UAE’s first licensed commercial gaming facility, alongside its hotel and leisure offering.

For yacht owners, charter guests and crews, resort access will begin at the marina rather than requiring a separate transfer from another harbour.

Opening Remains Set for 2027

Wynn Al Marjan Island is scheduled to open in September 2027. The project forms part of Ras Al Khaimah’s wider tourism and hospitality expansion and is intended to attract international visitors to the emirate. The marina adds a dedicated arrival point for the yachting market while extending the resort’s hospitality services to the waterfront.

When completed, Wynn Marina will combine 98 berths, operational services and direct resort access within the Al Marjan Island development.
