iGaming content provider 1spin4win has launched a charitable initiative aimed at supporting children with cancer and central nervous system (CNS)-related conditions in Kenya, while encouraging participation from the gambling industry in social causes.
The initiative, called ‘United for Impact’, will support the Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital Foundation, the charitable arm of one of Kenya’s leading pediatric healthcare institutions. The company is inviting partners and members of the wider iGaming community to contribute to the campaign.
The move comes as 1spin4win expands its presence across African markets, where it has established partnerships with local gaming operators and recently participated in the iGaming AFRIKA Summit 2026.
According to the company, Kenya records about 3,000 new childhood cancer cases annually, although the actual number could be higher because of frequent misdiagnosis and the absence of a comprehensive national pediatric cancer registry.
Limited access to specialized healthcare remains a challenge for many families seeking treatment for children with cancer and CNS-related disorders. While childhood cancer survival rates exceed 80% in many developed countries, only about 20% of children diagnosed with the disease survive in Kenya, according to figures cited by the company.
The campaign aims to help address barriers to treatment, including delayed diagnosis, limited access to specialized care and financial constraints that can lead families to abandon treatment.
The Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital Foundation, established in 2010, works to improve access to healthcare for vulnerable and underserved children across Kenya. Supported by a network of 18 medical centers serving more than 400,000 patients annually, the foundation provides treatment, specialized care and community outreach services.
“The iGaming industry is growing rapidly — new markets are emerging, major events are bringing people together, and a strong professional community continues to take shape,” said Valiantsina Dubavets, Head of Marketing at 1spin4win.
“At a time like this, we believe it is especially important to direct some of that collective attention toward real social challenges. At 1spin4win, we see it as our responsibility to use our platform to contribute to initiatives that matter beyond the industry,” Dubavets added.
Dr. Doreen Karimi, an oncology doctor at Gertrude’s Children’s Hospital, said contributions to the foundation would help improve access to healthcare for vulnerable children.
“By partnering with the Gertrude’s Hospital Foundation, your contribution goes directly toward breaking down the structural and financial walls that stand between a sick child and a healthy future,” Karimi said.
“This includes covering complex procedures, training frontline health workers in remote counties, equipping specialized infrastructure, and supporting vulnerable families to prevent them from falling into poverty.”
