Altenar has appointed Steven Craven as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as the sportsbook technology provider continues to develop its international operations across regulated markets.
Craven will oversee the company’s financial operations and strategy, aligning financial planning with its long-term business objectives. He brings experience in financial management, corporate reporting, and business leadership across professional services, publicly listed companies, iGaming, and technology.
Craven began his career at PwC, where he spent 10 years working in accounting and financial management across various industries and international markets. He later joined Strix Plc, supporting its initial public offering on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and helping develop its financial reporting, investor relations, and corporate governance functions.
He subsequently joined PokerStars, part of Flutter Entertainment, where he worked primarily on the FTSE merger. He later moved to a technology start-up involved in software development, web domains and other emerging concepts.
“I’m excited to build upon the solid foundations already in place at Altenar as we enter the next phase of business growth,” Craven said. “I look forward to working with our customers, suppliers, and staff to shape the financial strategy of the business, to continue to successfully navigate the complex regulatory environment in which we work, and to support the ambitions of our founders.”
Altenar CEO and co-founder Stanislav Silin said: “Steven’s appointment is an important step in strengthening our leadership team as Altenar continues to develop its business internationally. His financial expertise will support our long-term objectives and help ensure that our financial strategy remains aligned with the company’s wider ambitions.”
