Altenar promotes ice hockey Early Payout with 2026/27 seasons in full swing

Altenar is promoting its Early Payout feature for ice hockey 1×2 markets, with many 2026/27 ice hockey seasons around the world now in full swing.

With numerous competitions back in action, the early stages of the season give operators an opportunity to engage players through relevant betting features and a wider range of markets across major competitions.

“As the ice hockey season has begun, this expansion gives our partners an additional option for shaping their sportsbook offering around the competition,” said Giannis Papakonstantinou, Director of Sportsbook Product at Altenar.

The company introduced the ice hockey extension earlier in 2026 as part of its sportsbook product updates. The enhancement brings Early Payout functionality to ice hockey 1×2 markets and gives operators additional opportunities to engage players throughout the season.

Under the feature, eligible ice hockey bets on 1×2 markets can qualify for Early Payout. Players then have the opportunity to receive a payout before the final result is confirmed when the applicable conditions are met.

According to Altenar, the availability of the feature on more ice hockey markets allows operators to offer additional betting opportunities during the season, while players keep a familiar experience.

“Ice hockey offers operators another important opportunity to engage players throughout the season, and features such as Early Payout can add value to the overall betting experience,” Papakonstantinou said.

The ice hockey update is part of Altenar’s ongoing product development program, which focuses on giving operators greater flexibility in how they build and manage their sportsbook offering across different sports.

The company said the extension of established features to additional markets helps operators respond to seasonal sporting interest and adapt their offering to different player preferences.

“Extending this functionality to 1×2 markets gives our partners another way to enhance their ice hockey offering in more competitions, using a familiar feature across a wider range of sporting events,” Papakonstantinou added.

He also said: “Our product development approach is focused on providing operators with flexible tools that can support their priorities across different sports and markets.”
