Americas Cardroom’s OSS XL series will pay out more than $50 million across 336 events through September 29, with three Main Events accounting for $5 million of that total.
The series opened Sunday and runs for three weeks, covering formats from four-figure buy-ins down to sub-$20 entries.
The three Main Events break down as follows: $2.5 million GTD at a $2,650 buy-in, $2 million GTD at $1,050, and $500,000 GTD at $66.
Beyond the Main Events, the remaining calendar includes four major multi-flight tournaments, 10 Nosebleed Stakes events and more than $60,000 in added leaderboard prizes. The OSS XL schedule lists the remaining buy-ins, formats and starting times for the rest of the series.
Reload bonus deadline falls early in the series
Players can claim a 50% Reload Bonus up to $500 through September 10 on qualifying reloads of at least $25 using code HUGE, giving early entrants in the series an added incentive to build their bankroll before the bulk of the schedule plays out.
OSS XL overlaps with Americas Cardroom’s $2.5 million GTD 25th Anniversary Tournament, a $250 cumulative-stack event with a final table set for Sept. 29, the same date OSS XL concludes.
Opening Sunday results
The first day of play produced early winners across multiple formats. BADGERING took down OSS XL #13 for $130,209.51 after 1,118 entries lifted the $600,000 GTD High Roller to a $670,800 prize pool.
OSS XL #16 attracted 203 entries at $2,650 and closed with $507,500 in the prize pool; players at the final table agreed to a deal, with NewYorkMidgets finishing first for $95,311.68, KevinParCoeur second for $93,874.52 and Olivander1 third for $87,459.25.
Lower buy-ins drew the largest fields of the day. The $109 Moneymaker brought in 3,373 entries, and WilliamRed collected the win worth $62,933.20. The $16.50 Sunday Splash pulled 4,752 entries, the largest field of the day, and lukewarmwater finished on top for $10,952.96.
Mystery Bounty and Omaha formats also produced winners. COTTAGECORE won the $100,000 GTD 6-Max Mystery Bounty, taking home $11,769.70 in regular prize money plus $20,500 in bounties.
In the Pot-Limit Omaha field, peyton_manning won the $50,000 GTD PLO 6-Max PKO for $5,391.50 in regular prize money and $11,287.50 in bounties.
