Aristocrat Interactive’s customer experience solutions division, CXS, has received ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification after an external audit by The British Assessment Bureau.
The assessment examined the division’s security governance, the security development practices behind its product suites, its risk management processes, its operational controls, and the methods it uses to protect information.
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is an internationally recognized standard that sets requirements for organizations to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Audit extends to every CXS office worldwide
The external audit verified that each of the division’s global offices has implemented the standard. According to the company, the certification resulted from close collaboration across the global Aristocrat organization and demonstrates the company’s security-focused culture.
“This certification was a rigorous and in-depth process conducted by an external auditor of ISMS requirements, verifying that each of our global CXS offices has successfully implemented ISO/IEC 27001:2022,” said Neil Crossan, managing director of CXS at Aristocrat Interactive.
“Achieving ISO 27001 certification represents an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to security, trust, and operational excellence. It provides our customers, partners, and stakeholders with independent assurance that we have established a structured and risk-based approach to protecting the information entrusted to us,” Crossan added.
Crossan also outlined the division’s plans after the audit. “Now that we have been certified to meet internationally recognized information security standards, we will embed these best practices as part of our ongoing process, further demonstrating Aristocrat Interactive CXS continues to raise the bar on our cybersecurity capabilities,” he said.
Benefits for Aristocrat Interactive customers
Aristocrat Interactive said the certification gives customers independent validation that CXS maintains a formal and effective information security management framework. The division identifies, assesses and treats information security threats through a risk-based approach, and it has defined security responsibilities, governance processes and accountability across its operations.
The company added that its incident management, business continuity and recovery practices provide increased operational resilience. CXS also carries out ongoing monitoring, internal audits and management reviews, along with continual improvement of its security controls.
According to Aristocrat Interactive, these measures give customers greater confidence when they evaluate CXS as a trusted technology and business partner.
The certification is maintained through an ongoing program of surveillance audits and periodic recertification. CXS said it will continue to invest in its people, processes and technologies in order to address evolving cyber threats and support the secure delivery of its products and services.
