Gaming technology group Aristocrat Gaming is set to host its inaugural International Women’s Day (IWD) event in the Philippines on Friday, March 8. The event, taking place at Sofitel Manila, will feature key female executives from the gaming industry.
Cheryl Tiglao, Director of Slots at Hann Casino Resort; Katrina Mae De Jesus, Head of Business Development and Resort Marketing at Universal Hotels and Resorts; and Vina Claudette Oca, Assistant Vice President – Gaming Licensing and Development at Philippine regulator PAGCOR, will be among the distinguished speakers.
The event incorporates a panel discussion, providing an interactive platform to engage with distinguished figures from the gaming industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the panelists, who will deliberate on actionable strategies for promoting gender diversity and inclusion in the workplace, along with fostering networking opportunities.
Aristocrat Gaming, in a press release, expressed its aim to celebrate the accomplishments of women in gaming. The event also intends to initiate discussions on the potential benefits organizations can derive from investing in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. This investment is seen as a means to expedite progress within both individual companies and the broader industry.
Lloyd Robson, Aristocrat Gaming’s General Manager for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, emphasized the significance of hosting the company’s maiden IWD event in the Southeast Asian country.
