bet365 launched online sports betting and casino gaming in West Virginia, marking its entry into its 18th U.S. market as it continues to expand across North America.
The launch gives West Virginia customers aged 21 and older access to bet365’s sportsbook and online casino ahead of the college football and NFL seasons. West Virginia is the company’s fourth U.S. market where it offers both sports betting and online casino gaming, offering only sports betting in the other 14.
The operator is offering new customers promotions including “Bet $10, Get $150 + 50 Spins” and “1,000 Deposit Match + 1,000 free spins.”
Its sportsbook includes live and in-game betting as well as its Early Payout Offer (EPO), which settles qualifying football bets as winners when a team takes a 17-point lead, regardless of the final result.
The casino offering includes Daily Prize Matcher and Jackpot365, a multi-tier progressive jackpot feature integrated directly within a betslip or casino game.
“West Virginia represents another important step in bet365’s continued expansion across North America,” Trip Stoddard, Head of Development at bet365, said.
“As we grow our presence across the region, our focus remains on bringing customers the quality, depth and functionality that define the bet365 platform,” he added. “With football season just around the corner, it’s an exciting time to introduce our sportsbook and casino offerings to customers across the state.”
bet365 received an interim license in West Virginia in January and was approved for a full annual license on July 29, according to West Virginia Lottery licensing documents.
The launch makes bet365 the 10th online sports wagering operator licensee in West Virginia. Other operators in the state include BetRivers, BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings, Ember Casino & Sportsbook, Fanatics, FanDuel, Kambi and theScore Bet.
West Virginia is bet365’s sixth North American market launch in the past 13 months. It entered Kansas and Maryland in August 2025, Missouri in December 2025, Michigan in April 2026 and Alberta in July 2026, offering both sports betting and casino gaming in Michigan and Alberta.
The company also launched online sports betting in Illinois and Tennessee earlier in 2025.
bet365 has invested heavily in its U.S. expansion, including about $135 million to develop a 120,000-square-foot headquarters in Denver. It joined the Sports Betting Alliance in June 2025 and launched its “Winning Is Everything” marketing campaign in March 2026 targeting bettors in the United States and Canada.
The operator could also expand into Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission voted in April to reopen the state’s sports betting license application process after receiving a written request from bet365.
bet365 offers betting on more than 100 sports and more than one million live-streamed events annually. Its platform also includes responsible gaming tools such as spending and session limits.
