iGaming and sports betting operator BetMGM has unveiled Excalibur, a new online slot game that incorporates medieval themes with the bright lights of Las Vegas.

Excalibur currently is available exclusively at BetMGM in New Jersey and Michigan with plans to offer the game in all jurisdictions where the operator’s iGaming platform is live.

Created by Entain’s in-house studio Win Studios, Excalibur features imagery from Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The game is a five-reel, 20-line slot with wild and scatter symbols presenting 243 possible ways to win.

The Tournament of Champions bonus round feature is activated when six or more casino chip symbols land on-screen; any chip symbol in the main base game earns the player a free spin with the goal of collecting all six.

Excalibur is the most recent iGaming slot that has reimagined an MGM Resorts Las Vegas-based resort casino. In February, BetMGM debuted Luxor Fortunes, showcasing elements of Luxor Hotel & Casino.

BetMGM also is the exclusive home of Bellagio Fountains of Fortune, a slot game set against the backdrop of the famed Fountains of Bellagio; and MGM Grand Millions which prominently features that property’s iconic gold Lion

“Excalibur is a fantastic addition to the collection of slots showcasing a selection of MGM Resorts’ Las Vegas casinos. We take tremendous pride in creating games around these world-class destinations and providing exciting games for our players,” said Oliver Bartlett, Vice President of Gaming Product & Content at BetMGM.

BetMGM’s online casino is home to over 1,500 games and one of the largest state-by-state exclusive jackpot networks. In 2023, BetMGM was named Casino Operator of the Year by SBC North America, EGR North America, Global Gaming Awards, and American Gambling Awards.

Earlier in the month, Yogonet held an exclusive interview with Angus Nisbet, BetMGM’s Vice President of Gaming. “iGaming in North America is an evolving market and exclusive, in-house content is a major differentiator. We are building a destination for unique games and jackpots that you can’t play anywhere else,” he said in the conversation, which can be revisited here.
