Blueprint Gaming has launched Kong Even More Money, the newest title in its Kong slot franchise, with a bonus round in which the character grows from a 2×2 Collect symbol into a 5×5 Collect over the course of play.
The title is now available to Blueprint’s operator partners.
The franchise dates back to King Kong Cash, which introduced the studio’s cash-collecting ape. According to Blueprint, the Kong franchise has since become one of its strongest performing series, and each release has given the character more ways to gather wins.
Scale serves as the central theme of the new game. The Even More Monkey Bonus Round opens with three spins and a 2×2 Kong Collect.
Level Up symbols then grow Kong through four stages, and each stage adds extra spins and collection power until the character reaches 5×5. In addition, the Green Pot upgrade can move the action onto a larger 8×5 grid.
Red, Blue and Green Bonus Scatter symbols fill three Feature Upgrade Pots. These pots can trigger on any spin, either alone or together. Once activated, the upgrades can apply a multiplier, load the reels with extra Cash Prizes and Level Up symbols, or, through the Green Pot, add rows up to an 8×5 grid.
During the base game, Kong Collect symbols on reel five gather Cash Prizes. Meanwhile, every Banana and Cash Prize symbol adds to a Banana Pot, which eventually bursts and triggers the Banana Blitz pick feature.
James Raraty, Product Roadmap Manager at Blueprint Gaming, said: “King Kong Cash gave us a character players connect with, and each Kong game since has given him more to do. In Kong Even More Money, Kong grows as the session goes on, and his expansion from 2×2 to 5×5 is the centrepiece of the bonus.
“The Feature Upgrade Pots change how each bonus starts. Depending on which colours have filled, players can enter with extra rows, a multiplier, or reels loaded with Cash Prizes.
“Kong has a strong following across our markets, and this release gives players the biggest version of the character we have built so far.”
