BMM Testlabs has received approval to provide online gaming testing and certification services in New Zealand under the country’s new online casino regulatory framework, overseen by the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA).
The approval allows BMM Testlabs to extend its testing and certification services in New Zealand from the land-based gaming sector to the country’s emerging regulated online casino market.
“BMM has a long history of supporting New Zealand’s land-based gaming industry, and we’re excited to build upon those relationships as the country moves toward regulated online casino gaming. Our customers rely on us for quality, speed, and service. We’re proud to bring that same commitment to this next chapter of New Zealand’s gaming industry,” said Kirk White, President of Land-Based Gaming and Inspections.
New Zealand is preparing to introduce regulated online casino gaming. In this new market, BMM will offer independent testing and certification services to help gaming products meet the country’s technical and regulatory requirements.
These services support fair play, protect consumers, and build confidence in the regulated gaming market, the testlab noted.
BMM will bring 45 years of technical expertise and regulatory knowledge to operators and suppliers in the online casino segment.
The company’s capabilities also benefit from its combination with eCOGRA, which brought together two organizations with complementary expertise in gaming testing and certification.
BMM said the companies together offer wider technical capabilities, regulatory knowledge and a shared commitment to quality and service across global gaming markets.
