BOYLE Sports expands Serbia technology hub to support growth strategy

BOYLE Sports is expanding its technology hub in Serbia as part of its growth strategy and to strengthen its omni-channel betting operations.

Over the past 12 months, the operator has recruited more than 65 employees in Serbia and plans to increase its local workforce by a further 30% in the coming months. The expansion focuses on attracting professionals with strong technical expertise, gaming industry experience, and a cultural fit aligned with the company.

Belgrade has emerged as a key technology hub for the gaming industry, offering access to a highly skilled talent pool, established infrastructure, and a mature local market. BOYLE Sports said the city provides the ideal environment to support its ongoing investment in scalable, high-quality technology capabilities.

Serbia gives us access to exceptional technology talent, with the development experience and gaming-sector knowledge we need to support our continued growth,” Jim Parkins, Chief Technology Officer at BOYLE Sports, said. “We have been deliberate in how we have built the team, and are delighted with the calibre of people on board.”

Parkins also highlighted the growing impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on technology teams, noting that while BOYLE Sports is embracing AI, it remains committed to investing in people.

“The strongest businesses will be those that combine smart technology with talented teams who know how to apply it,” Perkins added.

The expansion follows BOYLE Sports’ recent partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), which is expected to strengthen the company’s technology platform and support its growth across its operating markets.
