Casa Italia will make its debut at ICE Barcelona 2027, taking place 18 to 20 January at Fira Barcelona Gran Via.
The initiative is being developed by the Italian Gaming Expo & Conference (IGE) and GN Media in strategic partnership with WorldGaming, the organisation behind ICE. Casa Italia will go live with the goal of giving Italy’s regulated gaming ecosystem a platform for representation, dialogue and networking on the global stage.
Casa Italia is being positioned as a meeting point for industry, institutions, regulatory authorities and trade associations. Its ambition is to showcase Italy’s industrial and technological strengths, encourage public-private dialogue and create new opportunities for international collaboration.
The programme will feature discussions on regulated markets, innovation, consumer protection, sustainability and responsible gaming, alongside dedicated networking opportunities. Casa Italia will also connect with ICE initiatives designed to foster dialogue within the international regulatory community.
“With Casa Italia, we want to give an entire ecosystem a shared home and a stronger international voice,” said Alessio Crisantemi, Founder of IGE and Head of GN Media.
“Italy is not only a major market, but also a source of industrial and regulatory expertise. Our ambition is to turn participation at ICE into a lasting platform connecting businesses, institutions and international markets – not a one-off showcase, but a project capable of creating value over time.”
“Italy is a major force in European gaming, and Casa Italia offers a valuable opportunity to connect its expertise with ICE’s global community,” said Stuart Hunter, Managing Director of Events at WorldGaming. “Through this initiative, we aim to encourage new exchanges between businesses, institutions and regulators, strengthening the dialogue and growth opportunities that make ICE a key international meeting place.”
Casa Italia will be officially inaugurated on Monday 18 January 2027 at 12:00. Conceived as a long-term initiative within the IGE/GN Media and WorldGaming/ICE partnership, it aims to strengthen the links between Italy’s regulated gaming market and the global industry.
