FanDuel has announced new sportsbook features ahead of the NFL season, including a new loyalty programme, expanded bet protection, and enhanced research tools.
The company will introduce a points-based monthly Rewards Club for sportsbook customers, with loyalty levels that unlock additional benefits as customers wager.
It will include daily promotions, weekly reward selections, milestone-based Challenges, and Rewards Boxes that reveal surprise reward tokens when customers reach new levels.
The company will also extend its Bet Protect+ feature to NFL wagers following customer engagement during the NBA Playoffs and WNBA season. For an additional 3% of the wager, customers can add full-game injury protection to eligible player prop bets. If a player leaves because of an injury and does not return, customers using Bet Protect+ will receive a cash refund on straight bets.
For parlays, the affected leg will be removed and the payout recalculated. For the NFL season, customers can automatically opt in to Bet Protect+ and use the feature with bets funded by Bonus Bets. The My Bets page will also display affected wagers in real time once an injury is confirmed, with customers receiving real-time cash settlement.
FanDuel is also enhancing its in-app research capabilities with new game intelligence features. Player pages will include game logs with game-by-game performance data and a quick view of results from the previous five games. Team-level information will include recent performances, records, and standings.
Additional features planned for later in the season include player prop trends, player favoriting, injury reports, and league rankings.
FanDuel will also add an “Ask AceAI” tab to player pages. The conversational AI assistant will provide statistics and available markets and allow customers to add selections directly to their bet slip. The company said the combined features are intended to give customers more information and control throughout the bet-building process.
