International Game Technology (IGT) has announced that its Megabucks, Powerbucks, and Wheel of Fortune Slots games awarded five jackpots in June totaling nearly US$17 million in the United States and more than CAD$1.3 million (approximately US$919,233) in Canada.
The largest jackpot of the month was won on June 16, when a player claimed US$10,292,912.32 playing IGT Megabucks™ Wolf Run Eclipse™ at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. It’s one of the largest slot jackpots ever awarded at the casino.
Other million-dollar jackpot winners in June included a player who won US$1,782,962.32 on June 8 while playing Wheel of Fortune Double Times Pay 3x4x5x® at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey, marking the city’s largest land-based slot jackpot this year.
On June 18, another player claimed US$1,527,942.38 playing Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Big Money™ at Edgewater Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada.
An online player in Ontario, Canada, won CAD$1,346,518.88 (US$919,233) on June 22 while playing Wheel of Fortune Hawaiian Getaway™ through the Powerbucks™ platform. On June 28, a traveler won US$3,307,159.50 playing Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin™ Triple Red Hot 7s™ at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
IGT said Wheel of Fortune Slots has created more than 1,200 millionaires and paid more than US$3.6 billion in jackpots since launching in 1996. Powerbucks™ Slots has awarded more than 78 jackpots of CAD$1 million (approximately US$707,102.38) or more since its Canadian debut in 2016.
