Intralot Deputy CEO Fotis Konstantellos steps down; Konstantinos Farris named new CTO

Gaming solutions supplier and operator INTRALOT SA announced Tuesday that Fotis Konstantellos has stepped down as a Member of the Board and Deputy CEO. He has been replaced on the board by Konstantinos Farris, who will also assume the position of Group Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately. Farris served as the company’s CTO from 1997 to 2016. 

Sokratis Kokkalis, INTRALOT Group Chairman and CEO, thanked Konstantellos for his longtime contribution to the Athens-headquartered company and wished Farris “every success in his new role.” As CTO, Farris will oversee the IT department within Intralot. He will be responsible for integrating the needs of the business with the operations, as well as ensuring the long-term necessities of the company.

Konstantellos joined Intralot in March 2015 as the Group Director for Products and Services. He held several more roles within the company, before being appointed Group Deputy CEO in December 2020. Chrysostomos Sfatos, a Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors, will now assume the role of Deputy CEO.

As a result, the company’s Board of Directors was reconstituted in its meeting on 21 March 2023 as follows:

  • Sokratis Kokkalis, Chairman and CEO, Executive Member;
  • Constantinos Antonopoulos, Vice-Chairman, Non-Executive Member;
  • Chrysostomos Sfatos, Deputy CEO, Executive Member;
  • Konstantinos Farris, Executive Member;
  • Alexandros-Stergios Manos, Non-Executive Member;
  • Ioannis Tsoumas, Independent Non-Executive Member;
  • Adamantini Lazari, Independent Non-Executive Member;
  • Dionysia Xirokosta, Independent Non-Executive Member.

The Board of Directors was elected by the General Shareholders Assembly on June 29 2021 with a six-year tenure.
