Kiron launches 20 virtual sports titles with SportyBet in five African markets

Virtual sports and numbers games supplier Kiron has launched 20 titles with SportyBet in Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, and Nigeria, expanding its presence across Africa.

The rollout includes football, basketball, horse racing, greyhound racing, motorsport, and other virtual formats, giving SportyBet players access to scheduled entertainment throughout the day to complement live sporting events.

Football makes up the largest part of the offering, with league and single-match experiences covering England, Spain, and Italy. The lineup also features Soccer Stars, Kiron’s iGOAL fast-format football content, and virtual tournaments based on the World Cup and Champions League.

Steven Spartinos, co-CEO at Kiron, said the launch of 20 titles across five countries marked a strong start to the partnership with SportyBet.

“Football is naturally central to the offering, but the strength of this launch is the variety around it,” he said. “We are bringing together different sports, formats and event types in one portfolio, giving SportyBet players more ways to enjoy virtual sports throughout the day.”

He added that SportyBet has established “a significant presence” across Africa, providing a foundation for the companies to expand their partnership across the market.

Joey Hurtado, Casino Director at SportyBet, said Kiron’s portfolio would broaden the platform’s sports entertainment offering.

“The combination of football, racing, basketball and other virtual formats gives players more choice throughout the day while complementing the live sports already available on our platform,” he said. “We are pleased to have Kiron’s content live and look forward to developing the partnership further.”
