Las Vegas: Planet Hollywood guest scores $1.2 million jackpot in two-hour Pai Gow poker triumph

A patron at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, operated by Caesars Entertainment, celebrated a substantial windfall in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The individual, identified as a rewards member, secured a seven-figure win amounting to $1,208,521 while engaging in a game of Pai Gow poker.

Caesars Entertainment officials confirmed that the impressive sum was achieved through the player hitting a significant Mega Progressive jackpot during their two-hour session at the poker table, as per media reports. The jackpot was triggered at 3 a.m., following the guest’s successful play.

The winning combination that led to this substantial payout was a 7-card straight flush, featuring the 2 through 8 of spades, with the wild card joker assuming the role of the 5.

This marks yet another instance of a significant jackpot win reported this year after a lucky traveler struck a $1 million jackpot at Harry Reid International Airport playing Aristocrat Gaming’s Wild Wild Buffalo.

The traveler hit the jackpot on the Wild Wild Buffalo slot game developed by Aristocrat Gaming, winning $1,031,199.36. Wild Wild Buffalo blends the Buffalo brand with the symbol-driven mechanics of Wild Wild Cash-on-Reel pays.

In December, a Colorado woman won a $3 million prize from Lotto.com’s scratch ticket.
