Social casino brand LoneStar Casino is operating a pop-up activation at Oria’s on Barton Springs Road in Austin, Texas, across both weekends of the Austin City Limits festival this October.
The company has also put branded pedicabs on the city’s streets, and these will run until midnight on festival days and remain in Austin through the end of the month.
The pop-up is open from noon to 7 p.m. on October 2 and October 3, and again on October 9 and October 10. According to the company, the venue gives festivalgoers a place to stop, cool off, and eat before they head to the music. DJs, food and drinks, giveaways and interactive games are available throughout both weekends.
A dedicated DJ setup at Oria’s runs throughout each day of the activation, and visitors can request songs.
Prizes on every spin
Inside the venue, three digital Spin to Win wheels award a prize with every spin. The prize pool includes LoneStar merchandise, food vouchers, and beer, which is limited to guests 21 and older with valid identification. The merchandise consists of cowboy hats, bandanas, hand fans, collapsible water bottles, wristlet phone holders, and poker-chip keyrings.
A LoneStar sticker wall provides a second way to win. Each sticker carries a QR code on the back worth between 1 and 5 SC, while one sticker holds 100 SC and the top sticker is worth 1,000 SC.
The second weekend also includes a live draw on October 10 for two VIP tickets to what the company described as the big race in Austin. LoneStar said entry details and timing would be shared ahead of the event.
Ten pedicabs on a festival relay
The brand’s presence is not limited to Oria’s. Ten LoneStar-branded pedicabs operate as a relay during the festival weekends. Five of them pick up people along the pedestrian route to the festival and bring them to Oria’s, and the other five carry passengers from Oria’s directly to the festival entrance.
The pedicabs operate until midnight, well after the pop-up closes at 7 p.m. They will also stay in Austin throughout October and run around downtown after the festival weekends conclude.
Local creators on the roster
Austin creators who cover music, food, lifestyle, tourism, comedy and gaming are joining LoneStar across the two weekends. The company confirmed 10 creators for Weekend 1 and eight for Weekend 2, in addition to a group of local micro-creators.
For audiences who cannot attend, the LoneStar Casino Blog will post photos, video, and behind-the-scenes content from both weekends on its social channels.
LoneStar Casino is a social casino brand with a Texas-themed personality, and it offers casino-style games online. The company works with creators, artists, and local partners to bring players together both in the app and at live events such as the Austin activation.
The activation is independently operated by LoneStar Casino and is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Austin City Limits Music Festival or C3 Presents. Participation is limited to people 18 and older, requires no purchase, is void where prohibited, and is subject to terms and conditions.
