Moon.com has launched an online market-betting platform allowing users to wager on whether the price of a financial asset will move Up or Down, with leverage ranging from 1x to 1000x depending on the market and prevailing conditions. Each position closes automatically once its loss reaches the original stake.
Under this structure, users cannot fall into a negative balance, and they do not face margin calls that require additional funds. The platform pairs its leverage, which ranges from 1x to 1000x according to the market and prevailing conditions, with a predefined maximum loss.
“This is the product retail traders have needed for twenty years,” said Conrad Castleton of FreeTips.com. “You get real leverage, on real markets, around the clock, and your downside is the number you typed in. Nobody gets a call asking for money they do not have.”
The exit point on display
Moon.com calculates a Liquidation Price for each position at the moment the wager is opened. The figure appears on the wager menu, the open bets list, and the live chart, so users can see where a position will close automatically.
Users can also set Auto Profit Close and Auto Loss Close levels to exit positions at predetermined points.
To place a bet, a user selects an asset, enters a wager and a leverage amount, chooses Up or Down, and submits it. Each bet is filled instantly with 0 slippage.
One price for every order size
The platform offers 0% slippage, which means the size of a position does not alter the price at which an order is filled. The company says orders fill instantly at the displayed price, and the execution price stays the same regardless of the size of the wager.
Moon.com charges its opening fee on the wager rather than on the total leveraged exposure. For example, a $100 wager at 1000x represents $100,000 of market exposure, but the opening fee is calculated only on the $100 wager.
Pricing beyond regular trading hours
Moon.com prices its supported assets continuously through feeds that it aggregates from multiple independent institutional market data providers.
Coverage includes equities outside regular exchange hours, so users can take positions in response to market developments before the underlying exchange reopens. The company says it does not create prices or manually adjust them to influence betting outcomes.
A test run before real money
A Play Money mode gives users a simulated balance that can be topped up to $100,000 before they commit real funds. In this mode, users can try different multipliers, Auto Profit Close and Auto Loss Close settings, and the wider interface.
Live accounts require email and identity verification, including government-issued ID and proof of address. The platform supports cryptocurrency deposits, and access is restricted to eligible jurisdictions and subject to geolocation checks.
