
New Jersey’s internet gaming revenue rose 4.4% year-on-year to $259.3 million in August, while casino win at the state’s nine Atlantic City casino hotels fell 5.5% to $294.9 million, according to data released by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) on Sept. 16.
The August figure was down 6.4% from a record $276.9 million in July, but marked the 11th consecutive month in which online casino revenue exceeded $250 million.
Internet gaming win rose 13.2% to $2.13 billion through the first eight months of the year, from $1.88 billion in the same period of 2025. The sector generated $57.7 million in taxes in August and $473.4 million year to date.
By contrast, Atlantic City’s nine casino hotels reported $294.9 million in casino win in August, down 5.5% from $311.9 million a year earlier. Casino win was nevertheless up 1.8% year to date at $2.01 billion.
Sports wagering gross revenue fell 25% to $61.4 million from $81.9 million in August 2025. The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement attributed the decline primarily to a later start to the fall sports calendar for some sports, including college football, compared with the previous year, as well as a lower overall win percentage.
Sports wagering revenue was down 5.3% year to date at $671.4 million.
Total gaming revenue for New Jersey casinos, racetracks and their partners fell 4.1% in August to $615.7 million. For the first eight months, however, total gaming revenue rose 5.4% to $4.81 billion from $4.57 billion.
Total gross revenue taxes were $81.5 million in August and $674.2 million through August.
FanDuel Casino remained the leading online casino operator in August with $56.7 million in revenue, down 0.7% from a year earlier.
DraftKings ranked second with $43.5 million, down 7.5%, while BetMGM was third with $35.1 million, up 7.8%.
Fanatics was among the fastest-growing established operators. Its August revenue rose 30.7% to $13.1 million, while year-to-date revenue more than doubled to $106.4 million, up 100.6% from the same period last year.
Golden Nugget’s online casino generated $11.3 million, up 28.8%, while BetRivers increased 28.1% to $10.7 million.
Bet365 revenue rose 46.6% to $3.4 million and Resorts Casino revenue increased 47.6% to $2.6 million.
Newer Caesars-affiliated brands also reported August revenue, with Betinia at $1.1 million, Vegas Club Casino at $875,415 and Ember Casino at $591,981.
