iGaming content provider Play’n GO has released Three Pots of the Genie, a video slot that adds three pot-based bonuses to the Lock’n Gold feature.
The six-reel game offers 4,096 payways and uses symbols that include golden lamps, jeweled rings, and purple slippers. Blue, red and purple pots sit above the reels, and each one carries a separate function within the bonus round.
When one or more Gem Scatters land in the base game, Lock’n Gold may trigger with one, two, or all three pot features active. Coins that land during the feature lock in place for the duration of the Re-Spins. Their values remain hidden until the feature ends, unless a pot effect reveals them earlier.
The Blue Pot Bonus operates through a Double mechanic. While this pot is active, a Double Scatter that lands during Lock’n Gold reveals selected Coin values and doubles them.
The Red Pot Bonus relies on an Ignite Scatter. If the Red Pot Bonus is active, a landing Ignite Scatter reveals the value of one selected Coin and increases it. That Coin then continues to increase on every subsequent Re-Spin until the feature ends, and no further Ignite Scatter is required for this to happen.
The Purple Pot Bonus centers on collection. With this pot active, landing Bonus Scatters reveal Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand and fill spaces on the corresponding panel. Once a player completes a panel, the game awards its instant bonus.
Other Gem Scatters that land during Lock’n Gold may unlock additional pot features, which then run alongside those already active. Consequently, a round that begins with a single pot in play can bring more of the trio into the action.
“What I like is that Lock’n Gold has room to surprise you,” said Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO. “Another pot feature may unlock during the round, so there’s interest in both the Coins you’re collecting and what might join the action next. That sense of possibility is a natural fit for a game built around genie magic.“
