The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has approved the addition of 18 individuals to its various Involuntary Exclusion Lists, barring them from gambling at licensed casinos, regulated online betting platforms, and Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) locations across the state.
Among the latest actions, the board placed four adults on the Involuntary Casino Exclusion List after investigations found they had left minors unattended at casino properties while gambling.
According to the PGCB, one female patron left two children, ages 8 and 13, inside a vehicle in the parking lot of Valley Forge Casino Resort for 52 minutes while participating in multiple forms of gambling.
In a separate case, a female patron left three children, ages 8, 9 and 13, alone in a hotel room at Mount Airy Casino Resort for 1 hour and 48 minutes while gambling at table games.
Another female patron was excluded after leaving a 10-year-old child in a vehicle in the parking lot of Live! Casino Philadelphia for 3 hours and 8 minutes while playing slot machines.
The fourth case involved a male patron who left a 12-year-old unattended in a vehicle in the parking lot of Hollywood Casino York for 30 minutes while gambling on slot machines.
The board said exclusion actions related to unattended minors are intended to reinforce state restrictions that prohibit adults from leaving children alone in casino parking lots, garages, hotels or other areas of casino properties.
Regulators noted that such situations can expose minors to safety risks. In support of casino efforts to address the issue, the PGCB continues to operate its public awareness initiative, “Don’t Gamble with Kids,” through DontGamblewithKids.org.
Exclusion list total reaches 1,481
In addition to the four unattended-minor cases, the board approved the placement of 14 other individuals on the Involuntary Casino Exclusion List for separate violations.
The cases were presented by the PGCB’s Office of Chief Counsel and Office of Enforcement Counsel.
Following the latest actions, the total number of individuals included across the board’s various Involuntary Exclusion Lists has reached 1,481.
The PGCB is scheduled to hold its next public meeting at 10 a.m. on July 22, 2026, in the Public Hearing Room on the second floor of the Strawberry Square Complex in Harrisburg.
