Rhode Island: Bally’s Twin River expands non-smoking section of casino floor

Industry

Bally’s Twin River in Lincoln has expanded the non-smoking section of the casino, with the new area located near the valet entrance on the first floor and away from the existing smoking areas.

Bally’s said the new section features 22 table games and around 550 slot machines. The area is also home to the Blackstone Bar.

“The additional no-smoking casino gaming area on the first floor enables guests who prefer a no-smoking environment ample space and opportunities to enjoy their favorite games,” said Craig Eaton, President of Bally’s Rhode Island operations.

Additionally, the second floor also features a no-smoking section. After an expansion in 2023, Bally’s says it has a total of 3,900 slot machines, 91 table games, 23 poker tables and 27 stadium-style games at Twin River.

Earlier this month, Bally’s unveiled its financial performance for the first quarter of 2024, showcasing a 3.3% uptick in revenue to $618.5 million. The positive trajectory was propelled by robust growth in its Casinos & Resorts and North America Interactive segments, offsetting a decline in International Interactive operations. CEO Robeson Reeves characterized the quarter as a “strong” start to the year.
