SAGSE Paraguay 2026 concluded on Friday after bringing together more than 345 registered attendees, including operators, regulators, government officials, international sponsors, strategic suppliers, casino floor technicians, security, surveillance and operations teams, and industry representatives from across the region.
The closing day was marked not only by the success of this year’s event, but also served as a social occasion for summit attendees, who had the opportunity to visit Iguazu Falls. The final major announcement was confirmation that the event will return to Hotel Casino Acaray in Ciudad del Este on August 4, 5 and 6, 2027.
As part of its summary of SAGSE Paraguay 2026, the organization highlighted a figure that reflects the event’s profile: approximately 2.75 operators attended for every supplier, reinforcing its boutique, closed-door format focused on decision-makers.

The first day of the summit featured SAGSE Summit/University, with an agenda focused on regulation, operations, market professionalization, sports betting, online casino, omnichannel strategies, compliance, legal certainty and opportunities for local operators.
The day also featured a strong institutional presence, including the participation of Luis Liseras, who was recently reinstated as president of CONAJZAR. The panel discussed the present and future of the Paraguayan market, bringing together regulators, operators, international suppliers and legal experts.

A key session also addressed illegal online gambling in Paraguay, focusing on the need for a coordinated response involving the State, the judiciary, relevant authorities and the regulated private sector.
The second day featured SAGSE Academy/College, a technical, practical and operational program that brought together more than 150 casino floor technicians, operations managers, security and surveillance teams, and operational staff.
The program included training on casino floor security, incident response procedures, coordination between technical and surveillance teams, event documentation, anomaly detection and operational best practices.

Paraguay’s growing importance as an emerging market for the gaming industry led to the confirmation of the 2027 edition of SAGSE Paraguay, which will take place on August 4, 5 and 6 next year, again at Hotel Casino Acaray in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.
The announcement reflects the interest of international operators and suppliers, as well as the need to maintain a permanent space for training, networking and dialogue between the public and private sectors.
