SAGSE unveils 2027 LatAm roadmap at G2E in Las Vegas

SAGSE LATAM unveiled its 2027 regional roadmap at last week’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, with Buenos Aires, Panama and Paraguay set to anchor its strategy for connecting Latin American gaming markets with the global industry.

The roadmap was presented during G2E 2026, held Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at The Venetian Expo. SAGSE Vice President Alan Burak met with operators, suppliers, regulators, and international gaming executives throughout the event as part of the organization’s efforts to strengthen Latin American engagement with the global gaming community.

“Las Vegas was the perfect place to present where SAGSE is going next. Our roadmap is no longer about organizing isolated events. It is about creating a year-round platform that connects markets, people, regulators, operators, and business opportunities across Latin America and with the rest of the world,” Burak said.

The roadmap will continue with SAGSE South America in Buenos Aires on March 17-18, 2027, at the Hilton Buenos Aires. The 2026 edition attracted nearly 3,000 executives, operators, regulators and suppliers, according to SAGSE.

SAGSE Paraguay is scheduled for August 4-6, 2027, at Hotel Casino Acaray in Ciudad del Este. The 2026 edition recorded more than 345 registrations and an approximate ratio of 2.75 operators for every supplier. The 2027 event will also include an operational and professional training component through SAGSE Academy / College.

Panama will serve as SAGSE’s hub for Central America and the Caribbean, with the 18th edition of SAGSE Central America scheduled for 2027 at the Sortis Hotel Casino & Convention Center. The roadmap lists May 2027 for the Panama event.

SAGSE strategy extends beyond exhibitions to include business, regulation, technology, education, executive networking and curated experiences.

“Latin America should not be viewed as one single market. Buenos Aires, Panama and Paraguay each provide access to different ecosystems, regulations, operators and business opportunities,” Burak said. “Our role is to connect those markets intelligently and then connect the region with the world.”

SAGSE’s collaboration with G2E includes executive networking, the G2E Platinum Club and initiatives for C-level operators from Latin America.

The organization plans to continue developing C-level meetings, operator activities, VIP networking, regulatory dialogue and cross-market connections around its regional events.

“We leave G2E with new ideas, new relationships and a very clear roadmap. The next stage is about connecting the dots: North America, Latin America and the international gaming community,” Burak said.
