Sands Resorts Macao has become the first integrated resort to introduce Hong Kong International Airport check-in and direct bus transfer services, effective March 1, 2024.

With the introduction of these services, guests can now check in for their flights directly from the integrated resort, thereby saving time and opting for a convenient transport to Hong Kong International Airport.

The new bus service, part of Phase 1 of expanded transportation offerings, will depart from The Venetian Macao directly to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) port, providing a link to Hong Kong International Airport.

The move is expected to enhance the overall travel experience for guests, while also contributing to the Macao Government Tourism Office’s (MGTO) visitor number goals for 2024 and beyond.

Kris Kaminsky, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations at Sands China, said: “We are thrilled to introduce airport check-in and direct bus transfers, which provide unrivaled convenience and comfort to our valued guests.”

It also further solidifies Sands Resorts Macao’s position as a leader in hospitality that delivers world-class guest experiences, while showing support of the Macao SAR Government’s strategy of positioning and developing Macao as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.”

Stephanie Tanpure, Vice President of Sales at Sands China, emphasized the critical role of this initiative in addressing accessibility limitations within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) segment.

“The introduction of airport check-in and direct bus transfers is a critical component of our response to calls to enhance the accessibility of Macao as a destination. We are committed to ensuring that every guest’s journey with us is as easy and convenient as possible,” Tanpure stated.

The move seeks to position Macau as a premier international MICE destination, enhancing the appeal of the gambling hub as a preferred destination for corporate events and conferences by offering convenience and accessibility for attendees.
