SmartSoft announced that it is bringing a new twist to one of its signature crash game formats with the launch of MineIsland 2. The sequel builds on the original game’s jump-based mechanics, introducing new features designed to add strategic possibilities while preserving the risk-and-reward dynamic that defines the title.
SmartSoft describes itself as the creator of the first-ever flying crash game, having played a pioneering role in the evolution of the crash category. With MineIsland 2, the provider returns to an established favorite, “showing how a familiar format can evolve without losing its core identity.”
Players guide a kangaroo across a series of floating islands, each carrying its own multiplier. Every successful jump increases the potential payout, but staying in the game comes with a growing risk: an island can collapse before winnings are collected. The challenge lies in deciding how far to go – and when to stop.
New mechanics change the game
MineIsland 2 introduces two additions that bring new possibilities to the original formula. Boost increases all remaining prizes by a multiplier ranging from 1.5x to 2.0x, giving players another factor to consider as they progress.
Portal introduces a second-chance mechanic, allowing the kangaroo to be rescued after a fall, adding a new dimension to the gameplay.
Players can also choose between three volatility levels and ten multiplier steps, allowing them to adjust the experience to their preferred level of risk. For those seeking a more challenging run, Hard mode offers the potential for wins of up to 10,000x.
MineIsland 2 is designed around player choice. Each jump presents a decision between pushing for a higher multiplier and collecting winnings before the next island gives way. The game follows the player’s pace, with Autoplay and Auto Collect available for those who prefer a more automated approach.
