SOFTSWISS wins Aggregator of the Year, launches 2027 iGaming Trends report at SBC Summit

SOFTSWISS marked its presence at SBC Summit Lisbon with an industry award, the launch of its fifth iGaming Trends report, and a series of discussions on AI, regulation, digital maturity and the rise of prediction markets.

The iGaming solutions provider’s Game Aggregator was named Aggregator of the Year at the SBC Awards 2026, held on the final evening of the summit. The platform connects operators to more than 40,000 games from over 300 game studios through a single integration, supporting multi-market game distribution.

SOFTSWISS also launched its 2027 iGaming Trends report, the fifth edition of its annual research. Produced in partnership with WorldGaming, formerly Clarion, the report included contributions from outside the iGaming sector for the first time, including Amazon Web Services.

“The iGaming market has grown from around €48 billion in 2019 to more than €307.3 billion in gross gaming revenue in 2026 and is projected to reach about €461.84 billion in gross gaming revenue by 2031. At the same time, annual growth is expected to moderate from around 30% to 9% – a clear sign that the industry is entering a new stage of maturity,” said Alexandra Kavelich, Deputy CMO at SOFTSWISS.

Its “Beyond iGaming” chapter compares iGaming with other digital industries, examining approaches to technology, regulation, growth and customer experience. The report explores how AI is changing business processes, how compliance can become part of product architecture and how companies can scale products across markets with different requirements.

“Regulatory and compliance systems are moving beyond individual solutions to become increasingly interconnected. As operators expand in regulated markets, compliance is becoming embedded into the underlying product itself. As this trend evolves, it will shape how digital platforms are designed, developed and scaled,” said Robin Harrison, Global Content Director B2B at WorldGaming (formerly Clarion).

The report was also brought to the SBC stage during the panel “2027 SOFTSWISS iGaming Trends Report | Five Years of iGaming: Which Trends Endured, Which Faded, and What Comes Next?” The discussion featured perspectives from technology, operators, suppliers, and media, including Amazon Web Services, SOFTSWISS, and BGaming.

Prediction markets were another focus at the event, which introduced its first dedicated Global Prediction Markets Forum. SOFTSWISS showcased its Prediction Markets Platform and contributed to two sessions.

Anton Lishchuk, Prediction Markets Commercial Strategist at SOFTSWISS, joined the panel “Prediction Markets: The Future’s Not Near, It’s Here” and delivered the keynote “Operators May Lose Prediction Markets Before They Enter Them”.

The 2027 iGaming Trends report is available for free download.
