Stockman’s Casino in Fallon, Nevada, has completed a year-long building remodel, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 18 September.
The renovation includes new carpeting throughout the property, an upgraded air conditioning system and improvements to the back of the house, including a redesigned kitchen. More than half of the casino’s slot machines were also replaced.
The casino’s cafe was demolished and rebuilt in a more classic style, with a redesigned menu centred on popular items such as cheeseburgers and chicken fingers. Additional customer favourites will return on a seasonal rotation. Daily promotions include Taco Tuesday at $7.77 for Winner’s Club members, while weekend prime rib specials have also returned.
“Fallon’s a great town and the ownership believes in this community,” said General Manager Lou Capone. “We’re excited to have inherited a great team and a building with great bones, but it was a bit tired. So, we reinvested in it to bring it back to close to where (Jim) Peters had it when he sold it many years ago.”
Winner’s Club members earn points through casino play that can be redeemed for free play or cafe meal comps. Higher membership levels offer additional benefits, including premium beverage service, a free monthly car wash and Holiday Inn discounts.
Stockman’s has also brought back promotions such as “Hot Seat.” A recent bingo promotion allowed patrons to donate school supplies in exchange for bonus bingo cards, with a similar promotion using nonperishable goods planned for the fall.
Stockman’s also added a Boomer’s Sportsbook betting kiosk following a partnership formed five months ago, according to Shawn Odell, a controller with Boomer’s Sportsbook. The kiosk was installed on the casino’s gaming floor and is similar to those already operating in Las Vegas, Jackpot, Elko, Reno and Sparks.
Boomer’s Sportsbook players can also use its mobile app to place bets anywhere in Nevada. Customers must first verify their accounts in person at Stockman’s using valid identification before accessing the app.
Stockman’s Casino was built in 1969 by Ken and Glenda Bendickson and Herb Peters. Jim and Kathryn Peters acquired the property from Herb Peters in 1989. Full House Resorts acquired the casino from the Peters family in 2007 and operated it until April 2026, when David Ross and Michael Gaughan III of Clarity Game Nevada, LLC, purchased the property.
The casino is located at 1560 W. Williams Avenue and operates 24 hours a day. Its cafe serves breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily, followed by lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
